Update: We’ve added some new alternative methods to our guide on how to make sushi in Grow a Garden.

While sushi would never be the first food you think of when gathering crops from your garden for dinner, Chris P. Bacon has other ideas. He’s craving sushi, so now you have to cobble together a sushi recipe for him in Grow a Garden.

We’ve seen 5 rarities of sushi you can make, but some of them require ingredients of Mythical or Divine rarity to prepare. However, there are still some sushi recipes that are accessible to even new players. Here’s how to make them!

How to make sushi in Grow a Garden

To make sushi, you need to add any of the following ingredients to Chris P. Bacon’s pot in the middle of everyone’s farms:

Sushi Rarity
Sushi Ingredients

Common
4 Bamboo, 1 Corn

Rare
1 Bamboo, 2 Corn, 1 Spiked Mango
or
4 Bamboo, 1 Corn
or
1 Corn, 1 Apple, 1 Bamboo
or
1 Corn, 1 Cauliflower, 1 Bamboo

Legendary
3 Bamboo, 1 Corn, 1 Maple Apple
or
1 Bamboo, 1 Corn, 1 Cactus

Mythical
3 Ember Lily, 1 Bamboo, 1 Corn
or
2 Bamboo, 1 Corn, 2 Bone Blossom

Divine
1 Bamboo, 1 Corn, 3 Bone Blossom

Bone Blossoms are easily the most difficult ingredient to acquire, since they were only available in the Dino Event. This means you’ll probably have to trade for it with someone in your world or ask a friend if you don’t have any already.

Once you’ve gathered all the ingredients for the sushi, make your way to Chris’s pot, select each ingredient to hold it in your hand, then toss it into the pot before pressing the big green cook button.

If you make a mistake, you can empty the pot using the red empty button on the sandwich board on your left.

Depending on the quality of the ingredients you’ve added, the meal will take a chunk of time to cook, but, when it’s done, select it in your inventory and speak to Chris. Ask him to taste the food you’re holding and, if it’s what he’s craving, he’ll reward you with a special gourmet item.

Chris’s cravings change every hour, so be sure to check out our list of Grow a Garden recipes for how to make every meal.
