Update: We’ve added new alternatives to our guide on how to make a burger in Grow a Garden.
Vegan food just keeps getting better and better, because in Grow a Garden you can somehow make a burger without any meat! However, to fill out the patty you’ll need to include some non-standard ingredients which surely make for a pretty interesting flavor.
But if that’s what Chris P. Bacon is craving, who are we to judge?
Out of all of the current Grow a Garden recipes, Burgers are actually some of the most difficult to make. This is because even the lower-rarity recipes still require limited ingredients from previous events which can be difficult to get your hands on.
But, with that said, there are still some burger recipes that are relatively accessible to even new players, so here’s what you need to know!
How to make a Burger in Grow a Garden
We’ve seen 5 different kinds of burgers that you can make using the following ingredients:
Burger Rarity
Burger Recipe
Rare
1 Pepper, 1 Corn, 1 Tomato, 1 Mint
or
1 Ember Lily, 1 Carrot, 1 Tomato, 1 Corn
Legendary
1 Corn, 1 Tomato, 1 Ember Lily
or
1 Corn, 1 Tomato, 1 Beanstalk, 1 Cactus
or
1 Tomato, 1 Corn, 1 Pepper
or
1 Onion, 1 Corn, 1 Tomato, 1 Bone Blossom
or
1 Corn, 1 Tomato, 1 Pepper, 1 Cactus
Mythical
1 Pepper, 1 Corn, 1 Tomato, 1 Bone Blossom
Divine / Prismatic
1 Corn, 1 Tomato, 1 Bone Blossom
Aside from mint, pretty much all of the ingredients are easy to get ahold of, apart from one: Bone Blossom. This limited item was already a difficult and rare plant to get from the Dino event, but now, if you don’t have any already, your only option is to trade with another player who already has some.
But whichever rarity you’re aiming for, once you’ve grabbed all of your ingredients head over to the cooking station in the middle of everyone’s farm plots to start preparing your meal.
Select each ingredient carefully from your inventory to hold it in your hand, then add it to the cooking pot. Make sure the right ingredients are listed on the sandwich board to your left, but if you make a mistake, use the red button on the sign to dump everything out and make a fresh start.
When you’re happy that your ingredients follow the right recipe, press the big “cook” button and wait for the time to elapse. Then, when your food is ready, select it again from your inventory to hand it over to Chris. Ask him to sample the food and, if it’s what he’s craving, he’ll give you better rewards than if you just fed him leftovers.
There are tons of cool rewards to collect, including unique pets, but if you want more unique cosmetics, check out our Grow a Garden codes pages.
