What is the Fried Chicken Event in Grow a Garden
Before the Mega Harvest Update launched, the admins of Grow a Garden triggered an admin weather event called Fried Chicken. If you haven’t seen the Cooked Owl yet, in this event, we saw a giant version of the bird.
It appeared from behind the Pet Egg, Gear, and Cosmetic/Crafting Stall and flapped its bony little wings, making it rain. Whether it made it rain oil, chicken skin, or even Cooked Owl skin, I cannot tell you, but it did introduce a new mutation to Grow a Garden.
What Does the Fried Chicken Event Do in Grow a Garden?
The Fried Chicken event created a chance for crops to receive the Fried Mutation! Crops that have a Fried Mutation are visually similar to the Sundried Mutation, but have glowing droplets of what appears to be hot oil coming off them.
Did you know there are secret weather types that admins can spawn? Before the Bizzy Bees update, a developer triggered a massive black hole above the island, giving plants the Voidtouched mutation. It also creates low gravity so players can jump really high!
