I’ve had my coffee machine for around 3 years now and never had any problems. It was making coffee but I could hear it sounded a little different, next day it was coming up with these errors saying the machine was over heating? I’ve just ordered a new one, found one unopened in the box on vinted for £45 (thank god) – the coffees really are addictive but I’m just so disappointed it didn’t last long!
Let me know if anyone else had this same issue

Also, my machine definitely wasn’t too hot! But maybe it was the mechanism….

It obviously can happen. I suspect the alert threshold is set pretty low, not much above boiling. Otherwise, there’s a thermal fuse on the heating unit that would have blown. Of course, such things are detected by sensors, and sensors themselves can go bad.

Yup this is happening to me now. The red and yellow button keeps lighting up. I’ve had my machine about a year and a half. Before that the first one malfunctioned after a year. I love the coffee too but the machines have been a disappointment
