This feels flimsy/wobbly af. Expected it to feel way more secure for the $200 I dropped on the nest. Anyone else experiencing this? Should I be concerned?

Used it for several years now. It does the job just fine. I’ve never had to worry about it being flimsy.

I had one for a few years. It might have been user error, but it never drew enough air, regardless of how I set the vents. It worked fine for simple and quick grilling (think burgers, brats, etc.), but not designed or intended for longer cooking (e.g. chicken). That’s fine, except there are plenty of options for quick and simple grilling that is much less expensive. Again, might have been user error and I should have gone into the purchase with realistic expectations of what it’s really designed for.

I have always had mine in the nest, never had any issues with its sturdiness.

Does it have screw points at the bottom of the feed so you have slight adjustment?

Solid and reliable. Tighten the screws periodically. I move mine around fully attached by lifting from the MX nest handles, legs dangling, works fine. Legs have unintentionally detached once in 5 years during transfer from spot to spot. The feet attachment clamps aren’t great, but don’t need to be. Enthusiastically recommend.

Never had a problem with mine. I do wish they offered a model that wasn’t made to fold up though. I don’t really need to take it with me

Saw it on display and did not like how wobbly it seemed so never purchased one for that reason. Currently mine is in a large nest, on a paver, with the “arms” slightly bent to hold it in place.

Mine has lived on the nest since I bought it. Used to travel with me when I was working on the road, never once had a problem with it.
