
My wife and I celebrated our 21st anniversary last week. We decided to make dinner at home instead of going out to celebrate. We made a rosemary focaccia, pastalini in brodo and a classic carbonara. I used Rummo spaghetti and made the sauce from scratch. We paired it with a bottle of Corbucci wine we bought last year on our 20th anniversary trip to Italy. It was delicious.

In Italy we do pasta in brodo when we are sick. Funny that abroad is considered fine dish.
