My favorite local market has an extensive selection of tinned fish, I just thought I would share a couple photos. They are pretty pricy, but the selection alone makes me feel spoiled. There are a couple more aisles with tinned fish that I missed, so this isn’t even everything!

Espinaler is mostly known for that sauce, but their sardines are probably my favorites and first choice.

I like how it’s organized like a liquor store, cheap stuff on the bottom shelf, good stuff towards the top.

With Omega-3s and so on, tinned seafood can be pretty healthy.
To get around this, one of our brands fries their sardines in chili oil with slices of garlic. Frying makes the flesh more dense and chewy. Fantastic.
