8 different varieties of tomatoes. Every one of them delicious.
We had some friends over today, and this was one of our appetizers.
This is the reason I do this every season. It's so much time and work starting in Jan/Feb. But this is when the payoff begins.
Tomatoes are the primary reason we garden. Everything else is just bonus. Which is wild, because as a kid I hated tomatoes. I remember openly complaining when my grandmother tried to get me to eat tomatoes.
Now we get to ride this wave until the first frost hits somewhere in October.

We usually make caprese salad. But the slicers were kinda small and we didn’t have mozzarella.
But I still did a drizzle of olive oil and balsamic. And then cracked sea salt and coarse ground black pepper.
Oh and one cucumber we picked today too.
It was so good.
