Since I've started eating better and focusing on my protein intake I've been eating a lot more meat. I'm quite picky so that translates to a lot of chicken, shrimp, salmon and most of all ✨turkey breast✨. I would usually grill a kilo of turkey breast in a pan, keep some in the fridge and cube the rest and freeze it. (This is the life hack – small cubes of grilled meat defrost super quickly in the microwave or on the stove and you can just throw them in wraps, salads or other dishes without having to actually cook anything) My dad noticed this pattern and now every single week without fail he grills chicken, salmon or unholy amounts of turkey (and zucchini because we love zucchini here) for me without me ever having asked him to 🥹 It's made my life a whole lot easier and I really appreciate my family being so accommodating of my new eating habits 🫶
