Let’s make auntie pasta salad. That looks so good. I’m going to make two of them. One for my mother-in-law and one for my husband. And this is that I think her name’s Nicole. And her recipe looks amazing. So, we got to make it. And she laid out some lettuce. Ever since I saw it, I’ve been wanting to make it. Sweet baby butter leaf. watching her page for like an hour. She taught me a lot of cool things. Okay, we’re going to set these to the side and we’ll cut tomatoes. And she said you kind of want to cut it thick. And this is a really pretty salad to show up to a party. And I have fresh mozzarella cheese. She actually makes her own mozzarella cheese. That’s awesome. But, you know, I’m going to just do this really quick. slicing it about that thick. Maybe I should have got two of these. And I just got this shakuderie cuts. This is from Walmart. You can get the fancier stuff, which I tried to order the fancier stuff, but they said they didn’t have it, so they substitute it with looks like pepperoni and hard salami. We’ll do a pepperoni, mozzarella, tomato, and I got some basil. Put a couple leaves in there. Same thing on this side. Then we’ll do salami. Salami, mozzarella, tomato. I guess I didn’t record the part where I added the banana peppers, the olives, and the cherry tomatoes. But add your favorite pickled vegetables. Now, we’re going to take our salami and pepperonis and just fold them in fourths and just tuck them in random places to make it look prettier. She said this is like a a pasto and caprii salad all at one. I have a little bit of lettuce left. So, I think I’m just going to put them in random places to make it look cuter because green makes everything look prettier. Now, we’re just going to add some salt and pepper. Top it with some more basil. And then we’re going to drizzle with some balsamic glaze. And she said, “Give it a generous amount and enjoy.” Now I just need to cover it up for my in-laws and a snack for my husband when he gets home from work.

  1. This is absolutely beautiful and such a kind gesture. However, never put salt on your salad until you were ready to eat it because it causes it to pull the water out out of it, and it will make it weep. Therefore making it soggy it depends on how long you have it on there however, after about 15 minutes, it starts so really just don’t put the salt on until you’re ready to serve it. Just a note from a professional. Beautiful presentation.
