Check out how you can make some awesome scallops in three minutes. So, the first thing you got to do is get your fresh scallops. I went to my local fish market and I got these nice fresh scallops. The first thing you want to do is pat them off, get them dry. Grab your scallop and a lot of times they have this little piece on the side that’s called the foot. We’re going to take that off. It’s just a really tough part of the scallop. So, we’re going to set that to the side. As you can see, there’s another one. Get rid of that. There’s a little piece of it. All right. Now, they’re nice and dry. And set out the room temperature. Also, we’re going to go in with a little pinch of kosher salt. Not too much. And then the Dano seasoning. Sprinkle generously. Add it in. Give them a flip and do it again. More do seasoning. In case you’re wondering, yes, I’m saying seasoning. Get it? Seasoning. Next step, get you a cast iron skillet and we’re going to get it fired up to a high temperature. Here we have some Cary Gold butter. We’re going to cut us a couple pieces and set to the side. Nice and hot. You can see the smoke coming out of the pan. So, now we’re going to go in with a little bit of grape seed oil. It’s meant for high heat cooking. It has a super high smoke point. Now, we go in with our scallops. All right, it’s been exactly 1 minute and 30 seconds. Give them a flip. And now we’ve flipped them. I’m going to turn the heat off. Add our KY gold butter. Another small sprinkle of the seasoning just right there in the butter. Now we’re going to tilt this pan. Get that butter. Start basting. Get the seasoning mixed in there. It’s literally only been about 3 minutes. We’re going to take these off. Put them right on our plate. Last step. Get you a wedge of lemon. We’re just going to squeeze the juice right over the top. Now, let’s go in for a bite. Looks perfectly cooked. I must say, I cooked that scallop to perfection. It’s the right amount of tenderness. The seasoning on there, the lemon gives it the right little citrus bite at the end. That is an amazing scallop. Try it for yourself. Let us know what you think. We’ll see you next time. Keep sprinkling, my friends. Enjoy. [Music]

Grape seed oil smells like motor oil when you cook with it and taste nasty
Lowes is putting your seasoning way over priced.
Avacado oil is also for high heat, it tastes better and it's much better for your body.

Naturally scallops will bring out sugar and create a wonderful crust on their own. Tastes amazing

As a black man with she/her pronouns I tell yuh what scooter butt. those look pretty dang ole dang ole good.
Love the channel. Advice: NEVER EVER USE GRAPESEED OIL!!! (or any seed oil) Science has proven it is extremely harmful. Use only: EVOO, pure coconut oil, pure avocado oil, lard, or tallow if you care about your health. ALL of those other seed oils are for industrial uses only. If you see the word "refined", do not buy. You're welcome. Buy Dan O's seasonings.

You canβt market your seasoning as low salt, then continue to add salt every time you use it in a recipe π
