I really like the Aji Charapita for its sweet, citrusy flavour and heat kick that doesn't last too long.

    I can’t get anything hotter than a jalapeño 😅

I have a new favorite – Trinidad Scorpion x Congo Chocolate. Right amount of heat balanced by a very sweet, fruity vibe that reminds me of perfectly ripe figs. No bitterness or earthy taste on the back end. Red jalapeños got bumped into second place; not as hot, but loaded with flavor, and who doesn’t love Sriracha or chipotle?

Yes aji has some great variety’s. I’d say not hot violet sparkles and hot either Jamaican scotch bonnets or sugar rush striped

Jimmy Nardello and Lemon Spice Jalapeño

I’ve never been able to get aji charapita to fruit, though I’ve heard they’re amazing. I think SB, ghosts, and Cajun bells have the best flavor.

Edit: 7-pot primo also amazing, but you definitely have to be able to handle the heat.

Home grown hot wax, brown jalapeños, orange spice jalapeños, lemon spice jalapeños.

Jimmy Nardello have amazing flavor and a touch of sweetness…but no heat.

Sugar Rush Peach have sweetness, tropical flavor AND mid level heat.

  9. Honestly this newish Armageddon pepper is amazing. It’s so floral and fruity and also a super hot. If used right in a jerky or sauce it’s really special. I have eaten Carolina reaper and red ghost but the Armageddon is definitely my favorite. I am not super experienced but hope to become experienced. Only my second year growing these chilis and experimenting. Cheers
