I’ve had my dad’s older Traeger at my house for the last almost year or so and my wife and I have been enjoying it but knowing my dad will want it back soon.
I was looking at the Timberline but they are crazy expensive and ended up finding this Ironwood XL that is only about 6 months old on FB Marketplace for $800 w/ a cover included. I even found a set of the Traeger X Meater probes to go with it for $50.
It was pretty dirty but it cleaned up nice and we’re looking forward to cooking on it for many meals ahead!
First cook for us was some sockeye salmon and bacon wrapped pickles!

Hey! It looks like you posted an image!
If this is a photo of one of your cooks, maybe share the recipe and techniques
used, as it’s almost guaranteed one of the first questions you will be asked!
*What seasoning did you use?
*How long did you cook it, and at what temperature?
*Did you use any special tricks or techniques?
Traeger on!

Great find!
Nice I found mine on marketplace also. Working on closing a deal on my next market place find.
I hate you, but also congrats
Good score.
How do you like that grease drain compared to the side spout?
