    There’s a phrase in Korean (이열치열) that basically describes eating hot food on hot days.

    I think the theory is that you sweat more so you cool off but I dunno about that part lol

    Eating something sour can be refreshing on a hot day. This is common in hot countries such as India with Chaat, thailand with tom yum and philippines with sinigang.
