Ever tried hummus?

How about grape leaves or baba ghanous?

This weekend’s 2025 St. Sharbel Food Festival gives everyone an opportunity to try these popular dishes while also celebrating the Middle Eastern culture and community at St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church in Clinton Township.

Festival hours: Saturday from 5 to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Other highlights at the festival will include:

• Music & Entertainment: DJ Franco playing a mix of Middle Eastern and American music along with Dabke Dancing.
• Family activities such as a bounce house, Kid Zone games and much more!
• Hookah, beer and wine tent for adults, ages 21 and over.
• Food and drink prepared on site by Ike’s Restaurant (with many signature Middle Eastern and American items to choose from).
• Middle Eastern breads and desserts: (Saj) with various toppings.  And what’s any summer festival without ice cream?
