How to restore black enamel to (near) new majestic beauty?
Basically title. This bad boy is my daily driver and has been through 8 or so New England winters. Not sure how it got this faded looking. Any suggestions on how to clean / restore?

First, you clean it well.

Try a spot with Bar Keepers Friend. Light pressure see if it mares the finish.

Steel wool

Clay bar and then some light cutting polish?

Contact Weber and ask them.

A very fine steel wool will be good. Used it on mine and no scratches. Just make sure to use plenty of lube such as a quick detailet. Water would do too but i like the added slickness of a quick detailet

WD40 and a rag, paper towel or microfibre cloth. I have used this to clean up my Spirit and it worked well. Water will bead off next time it rains too. Good on the painted cover, stainless shelves and can bring back the uniformity of the plastic parts like the burner controls. Good luck!
Edit: Also, I never cover mine during the spring, summer or fall. I do store it in the garage over winter though. Eastern Canada.
