Ordered from a place called Joe’s by the Airport in Myrtle Beach, SC. Meal is called the skillet and comes with 3 piece bacon, 3 piece sausage links, 1 piece ham (I subbed for some awesome fried bologna), 3 eggs, and a mess of home fries all served in like an 18″ cast iron skillet.
Man it was awesome! If anyone gets by there, they do a breakfast buffet on Saturdays and Sundays and includes all the usual fixing + country ham, fish sticks, country fried steak fingers, smoked sausage & onions, and stewed tomatoes.

Owner’s a student. Less dishes to do.

I’ve seen a lot of places serve their skillet dishes on a skillet, but usually it’s smaller and flatter and doesn’t have a long handle so it’s a lot easier to eat from. Keeps the food hot, although it can risk overcooking some things.

That’s exactly what you’re supposed to get when you order a skillet. Putting it on a plate started in lazy restaurants.

It’s easy to clean and not spilling/dripping anything onto the table, this gets a pass. The single slice of bacon is pretty pitiful though, it looks like a garnish for the eggs.

Have you ever tried to use a knife on something in a bowl 🤣 also say goodbye to your cast iron seasoning

I’m on board if they also let you keep the skillet.
