  1. Looks great, I had horse and mane in Japan. The horse was great, lean and not gamey. The mane? Horrible lol

Goddammit. I’ve heard it’s so good, and I skipped it last time I was there.

As an equestrian and a sushi lover

The two words horse and sashimi in the same occurrence strikes me in many different ways

  5. We had horse tartare in Iceland. I would have assumed it was bison or some kind of game had we not been told it was horse.

  6. Add some rice and you’ve got yourself some good Neighgiri right there. I’ll see myself out.

Correct me if I am wrong, but isnt this called “yakiniku” or something to that extent?

I’m shocked at all the people surprised at this 🤣 when I was in japan horse was more popular than beef there. It was everywhere, raw horse food stands all over the streets
