GRAND HAVEN, MI – The Clover Bar, a neighborhood favorite since 1963, has been serving up homemade pizza, subs, breadsticks, salads, and pasta for over six decades.
The eatery at 601 S. Beachtree in Grand Haven was acquired by Spring Lake brothers Steve and TJ Musial in the late 1970s to continue offering a retro atmosphere to locals and visitors.
Ever since, the offerings have cemented The Clover Bar as a favorite for comfort food.
“We can cater to private large parties or groups during the day or during regular hours of operation. That’s a great advantage over our competition,” the Musials said.
The top seller on the menu is the Clover Bar deluxe pizza. It comes with sausage, pepperoni, green pepper, and mushrooms.
Customers can either get a 10-inch for $14.50, a 14-inch for $22 or an 18-inch for $29.50.
Additionally, there is Pasta Night from 5-9 p.m. every Thursday featuring a complimentary tossed salad and bread basket.
There are two options available: spaghetti and lasagna, each made with a blend of tomatoes, garlic, and onions, served with a generous portion of al dente pasta.
The spaghetti comes with meat sauce for $11 and meatballs or sausage for $12.50. Children under 12 can order a smaller portion for $8.50.
The lasagna features homemade noodles, lean ground beef layered in shredded mozzarella, ricotta cheese and marinara sauce for $12.
For something a little sweeter, The Clover Bar offers cinnamon cream cheese breadsticks. It comes with soft breadsticks sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and stuffed with vanilla cream cheese.
