YAKIMA, Wash. — President and CEO of Yakima Valley Tourism John Cooper will be this week’s guest for Wine Time Yakima, sharing a nice bottle of ‘Portuguese’ red wine, in celebration of his recent trip to the Iberian Peninsula.
John will be sharing stories of growing up in Southern California and Southern Oregon, before discovering his passion for tourism and travel, which brought him to Yakima almost 20 years ago; and the drive that has seen his efforts lead to Yakima being recognized as one of the nation’s top 10 wine growing tourist destinations.
John Cooper’s story will be live at 7:00 pm, August 23rd, and new episodes of Wine Time Yakima air every Saturday at 7:00 pm on KIMA’s YouTube Channel.
