Video: 5 Cincinnati restaurants that pay homage to local history
Several Cincinnati restaurants pay homage to the city’s history. Here are five to check out.
Two new dining options are coming to Medpace’s Madisonville campus.
The city of Cincinnati greenlit development for outdoor dining spaces to two new restaurants, after the planning commission unanimously approved the final development plan Aug. 15. The restaurants will be called Suzu and Zingaro, documents show.
Celebrity chef Fabio Viviani will lead Zingaro, which will serve traditional Italian dishes focused on homemade pasta, fresh seafood, steak and made-from-scratch appetizers, Viviani told the Cincinnati Business Courier. The kind of restaurant Suzu will be is unclear.
The Enquirer reached out to Viviani for more information.
According to the Business Courier, the opening is about three or four months away. The Enquirer reached out to Medpace about each restaurant’s anticipated opening but has not yet heard back.
Viviani, originally from Italy, was a fan favorite on “Top Chef” in 2008. Over the past two decades, he has opened over 30 “food establishments, restaurants, bars and event spaces,” according to his website.
Medpace is in the midst of a $327 million expansion that will restructure its Cincinnati campus, located at 5350 Medpace Way in Madisonville. The expansion was first publicly announced in December 2022. The Madisonville headquarters will see three new additions: a nine-story office building, a new Clinical Pharmacology Unit (CPU) and a six-story parking garage.
