Ingredients:
• 3.5 cups all-purpose flour
• ½ cup warm milk
• 1 cup warm water
• 1 packet instant yeast
• 2 level teaspoons sugar
• 2 level teaspoons salt
For the top:
• Egg yolk
• Sesame seeds
Instructions:
• Let’s Knead the Dough:
In a large mixing bowl, add the flour and salt, then make a well in the center. Pour in the warm milk, warm water, sugar, and yeast. Knead the mixture into a soft, slightly sticky dough. Tip: Wetting your hands occasionally will make kneading easier.
• Time to Rise:
Cover the dough with a clean cloth and let it rest in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
• Shaping:
Transfer the risen dough onto a lightly floured surface. Divide it into 8 equal pieces and shape each piece into a round ball. arrange the balls in a flower shape on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
• Second Rise:
Cover the shaped dough again and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
• Final Touch:
Brush the tops with egg yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds (or nigella seeds if you like).
• Let’s Bake:
Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C (430°F) for about 25–30 minutes, or until beautifully golden brown.
