    I have moods, but you’re right – there’s something about Tabasco that is just great with breakfast. I’m also very partial to Yucateco though, and it’s what I use most with breakfast.

    My nostalgia dictates that only Tabasco goes on Biscuits and gravy. I find a good Verde goes well on anything else

    I usually have Frank’s red hot xtra hot with my breakfast, Tabasco has this weird sweetness that I’m not really into but the Frank’s goes great with eggs.

    Cholula and Crystal are my breakfast staples. Tabasco imparts too much of a rancid taste for my liking.

    For me the answer is always el yucateco- green or the Mayan sauce

    Tell us you don’t know hot sauce without telling us you don’t know hot sauce. You also mentioned a rancid taste from vinegar. You don’t know what you are talking about at all.

    Feel free to love Tabasco, I like it and it has it’s place in the pantry here. But don’t try to make claims about it without keeping in mind it’s your personal preference.

    If your preference is for the ‘rancid’ taste, and you want to branch out in a big way, consider making your own fermented hot sauce. It’s a deep rabbit hole, and if you’re not into it, all good. Stick with Tabasco. But there is so much more to the world of hot sauce, you might be missing out.

    For the nostalgia of my childhood I enjoy Tabasco or Texas Pete, but I’m also the type of person who likes to drink vinegar. 😅

    Maybe some scorpion to put some pep in your step or family reserve. The OG sauce just doesn’t do it. Everything else Tabasco offers is fantastic in comparison.

    I can be overly harsh, and if it was the only thing available it would still be a decent choice. But yea, Crystal or Louisiana.
