A Bury St Edmunds woman who stole coffee, mayonnaise and wine from a petrol station in Hadleigh has been sentenced.
Jade Shreeve, 35, appeared before Suffolk Magistrates’ Court in Ipswich on August 14 charged with a single count of theft from a shop.
According to a court listing, six jars of L’or coffee, seven jars of Milicano coffee, two jars of mayonnaise and a bottle of wine, with a total value of £114.61, was taken from Lady Lane Garage in Hadleigh on July 4 last year.
Shreeve, of Caie Walk in Bury St Edmunds, appeared in court earlier this month having admitted the offence.
She was told to pay back Lady Lane Garage £53.92 in compensation for stealing the items.
No order was made for a surcharge so that the business’ compensation for the loss of stock could be prioritised.
In addition, Shreeve was handed a conditional discharge which will be in effect for the next 12 months.
