I posted last week and the response was incredible! I cant tell you all how much I appreciate the support! I sold more sandwiches in the first 30 minutes than I did the entire Sunday prior!! I sold out and I will have more to do what I can to feed everyone who shows up.
Incase this is the first you are seeing this post, I smoke beef short rib over red oak, with onions, bell peppers, garlic and cheddar cheese on handmade rolls, $10 a sandwich. I am on the corner of N Berendo St and Hollywood this Sunday (and every Sunday) from 12 to 7.
I am doing something new this week, I will have roasted jalapenos, if you are a fan of those. I am not 100% on the second addition this weekend, but I will try to have an au jus/demi glace/hearty beef stock type dipping sauce, neither addition will cost any extra. I appreciate those who stood around with me talking about food and helped me figure out some awesome upgrades to the food! Perfection is of course impossible and there is always room for improvement and there are quite a few that gave me some extremely helpful ideas that should make the food better!
I've also been working on a handmade chili oil mayo recipe and I will try to add it to the menu next weekend – again, at no additional cost. I just want to make the food as high quality as possible, while keeping costs as low as possible

My husband and I absolutely love your cheesesteak! The bread that you baked for the sandwich was awesome. Who knew using Japanese-style bread (Fluffy and Milky) would taste awesome with steak and cheese. It is truly a one-of-a-kind cheesesteak.

Adding a small “est. 2023” into your name on social media and/or onto the signage at your stand would remove the political connection completely! From a purely business perspective, its unprofitable for people to make that connection no matter which side you lean.

OP’s partner stopped by while I was there just to set up a dog bowl and pour some cold water in. It was pretty hot out and I was really impressed how thoughtful this was for people stopping by that might have their dog with them.
