40$ for this plate for two people + soup, nori and unlimited kimchi from Captain Son stall
Back in April, while in Seoul I visited Noryangjin market, and I was wondering what fish we had. I’m sure one of them was salmon, because the seller cut up the fish infront of us and meat was orange.

How much does this plate cost? (Restaurant Vs. Legit Sushi Chefs)

I see salmon, kingfish and flatfish/flounder (called 광어) in Korea.

I’m by no means an expert on this but I do eat a good deal of sushi. If I had to guess, starting from the front, Madai, Salmon, then maybe seabream or fluke, the silver skinned one I would guess is maybe mackerel.

    From bottom to top:
    1. Madai (red sea bream)
    2. Sake (salmon, with a little belly on each slice
    3. Tai/hirame? (Tai is a generic term for sea bream, could be any varoliety whereas madai is specifically red – but hiramr might be more likely, that would be known as Japanese flounder or bastarf halibut)

#3 I’m not quite certain of but the other 2 are definitely correct.

  7. Top to bottom: amberjack, flatfish, salmon, sea bream and flounder

might not be salmon just because it’s orange, some trout look like that.

    still, delicious.

    Great deal.

    Bottom to top:

    Japanese red snapper:Tai
    Salmon: Sake
    Halibut: Hirame
    Striped Jack: Shima Ají

On top of the shima aji fish is radish sprout (kaiware)
