“Thank you, thank you, thank you!” Rosaria said. “Forty years is a long time, and we’re so appreciative of everyone who’s supported us over the years.”
The restaurant has many regulars, and it’s heartwarming to see the DiMaio’s dining tradition being passed down to new generations, with many people who grew up eating at DiMaio’s now bringing their own children to the restaurant, Rosaria said.
“We often see the same faces, and it’s so great because we love getting to know our customers,” Rosaria said.
“We see a lot of people who grew up in Hellertown, stayed in the area and are now bringing their own families here. So, it’s really wonderful that we can continue to be a staple in the community.”

“Our homemade bread is really great,” Rosaria said. “We make that fresh every morning and use it for our sandwiches and dinners.”
Rosaria attributes the keys to DiMaio’s success and staying power to the restaurant’s high-quality ingredients, made-from-scratch dishes and friendly service.
Maria and her daughters are usually cooking in the kitchen, but they make it a point to come out and mingle with the customers when they can, Rosaria said.
DiMaio’s, which also offers catering, is open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
