Not yet, I still have some memory capacity…. for now.

  2. easy_evoo

nope. I always throw it away 2 weeks later anyways

Oh man I want those stickers.
I do it to some degree. I’m not always home at dinner time so I will label leftovers so my girlfriend knows what is still good and what isn’t. She’s more prone to eating things I wouldn’t though lol so I’m not sure how much she looks at them but I like having reminders of when I need to toss stuff.

How am I supposed to know how aged my blue is if I hadn’t labeled it two months ago?

  5. I’ve still got gloves, does that count?

Literally have gloves from just before covid to take to work….. Yeah about that…. Forgot about them

    “Corner”

    “Sharp – coming through”

    “/*hot!!!/* coming through!”

I put dates. But I don’t buy labels for anything but my brews.

Sometimes. I don’t put the lids on food warm enough to steam up the container, tho, what with that being a way bigger health hazard in my own home kitchen than poor labeling.

No that’s a level of taking my work home with me that I’m not quite ready for

I never labeled my food as at home, That’s a 4 hour walk

Only in the freezer, to know what it is inside

    That’s pretty excessive imo.

But yes, just painters tape, and the date. If it’s particularly hard to tell what it is, write what it is. Helps a lot with leftovers so you don’t waste food. Older dates get moved forward in the fridge so they don’t go bad.

Your institutionalized. But if it keeps you cool…

the only things i really label is stuff i put in ziplock bags to freeze. i write what it is and the date i put in in

Blue tape and a sharpie, top drawer with the cutlery right next to the fridge.

The wife loves this shit so she doesn’t question a bunch of delis with blue tape all stacked

  15. Any-Yak306

No- but I have a sharpie to date containers and “use within XX days” perishables. Started doing it at my office job now too. “Use by: 8/17”

yeah but a lot less classy… painters tape only. try to get everything in there but sometimes i only label the shit i make. when i’m mentally functioning well i’ll label bought stuff with the expiration date

  17. Excellent_Condition

Absolutely. I forget when shit got put in the fridge, or I’ll have two identical items- one from a week ago and one from a day ago.

I usually just use day of the week labels and write the date on them though.

If it’s something that isn’t obvious, like a sauce or syrup, it’ll get the name/date made/date to throw it out.

  18. No put I should ! I’m feeling your label and Tupperware system. Where did you get? I could use labels and Tupperware like this.
