It’s valid. Not sure on how reheating would go though.

Should have saved some sausage water for a nice refreshing drink later

I’m glad you included sauce for the final meal, looks dry af

  4. Brother please. You must be young. Please learn how to cook, get a meal delivery service like hello fresh and learn some basic recipes.

It’s a meal and you’ve prepped it. May not be the most gourmet thing, but it’s a start.

Bruh, use a pan for the sausages next time. Boiling the sausages is not good, it’s better to put them on a pan. Bread will not reheat well on microwave, it will get like a rock. To reheat this a small oven would be better. In general if you’re going to meal prep hot dogs you can just make them the same day, that would work better for freshness. I think if you are not very good at cooking or not into it, a slow cooker or instant pot are good options: you just put everything there and the meal gets made -of course, you would need to check some YouTube recipes.

Its not the worse thing, you have some carbs and protein. You can easily jazz it up with some sautéed onions , add a pickle spear to eat in the side. Add some dietary fiber like microwavable broccoli so you can shit relatively normal and be filled up.

  8. So are these just the hot dogs you eat on the train to work?

  9. Cook the sausages in the pan next time.
Use whole wheat buns, add some sauerkraut or other veggies and you’ve got a great meal. Protein, fats, carbs and lots of fiber.

I don’t get why this person is getting so many downvotes. The other day some person posted a video of making chicken curry with “moong daal” or something. They did not boil the “daal” properly and just made a chicken soup. It was not even a proper curry, just a half assed meal with boiled chicken as the only nutrition.

At least this person has more ingredients. Carry on OP!

Nobody is going to ask why the precooked sausages are being boiled, just to be packed for prep?

If you enjoy this kinda sandwich, it’s perfect. Ignore the haters. You cooked, you have your meal prepped. Who cares if someone else doesn’t find it to their taste/aesthetic.

I’d say this is a win. Good job. Enjoy your lunches!

Bunch of snobs on here. Someone explain why this is any worse than beef and rice. Looks like a perfect meal to me. Maybe eat an apple as well to keep the doctor away.

  14. Looks a little bland to me. I typically put tiny slices on my sausage and air fry till it’s charred …I throw in whatever veggies with some seasoning. Hot sauce on the side

    Enjoy your meal!

  15. I believe they’re already cooked, so a pan fry would be nice for a bit of colour and additional flavour.

I like to cut them up and throw a bunch of vegetables in with it. Super easy to throw some salt, peppers, and garlic in there.

Why not cut them up, then fry them with broccoli and put them in a bed of brown rice.
