The first two pics are my first attempt at making nigiri (last week), and the last one is an attempt from tonight. I think my cuts need some work, but I'm using real wasabi – and some of the tuna was marinated in yuzu ponzu! (Tonight, I put Johnny Walker in the ponzu, and it was really good.) I didn't really do much research before, but I'm watching short videos and reading articles to pick up more tips, so hopefully I get better!

    For a first attempt this is extremely well done. I remember my first attempt for which I was arrested on the charge of assault and battery on salmon. Keep rolling and keep posting cuz it only gets better.

    You need to work on both your rice and slicing fish. But excellent for a first. Ya did good. 1000% would eat together again. Did you add rice vinegar? So happy you kept it simple.
