Thank you for including the recipe! ❤
I do like store bought hummus
And I LOVE this!
Gross.
Since when you boil check pees with onions? You need to soak it all night then mix it with one spoon of carbonate of soda for a few minutes then clean it really well then boil it, after half an hour of boiling, you add half spoon of carbonated soda and be aware that it will make a lot of foam ,you need to take the foam with a big spoon from the top ,keep taking it as it shows because that's oxalate and it will damage your cells and make a kidney stones…after the foam disappeared and the check peas are soft ,you take out the quantity you need to the blinder and add olive oil while it still hot and mix and add tahini and lemon juice and garlic very little, if you noticed that it's thick and you don't want to add more olive oil, you can add water or Jogurt…cumme is at the top not inside the mix
As a syrian man ( hummus is originally from Damascus/Syria region previously which means Syria, Palestine, jordan , Lebanon )
Your recipe is good but not the authentic one : you should add the garlic when you blend it ( not only soaking it) and add some yogurt also.
This is how we make it . And I like the bread it looks awesome. Keep it up brother ❤️
As a side note to anyone trying this out themselves at home, it does help if you're patient enough to skin the chickpeas too. Leads to a smoother more restaurant/storebought experience.
I’ll be going to the store … for the chickpeas
