This turned out so good even if it's not very presentable on camera. This is the recipe I followed: https://heygrillhey.com/smoked-chile-verde/

State number 6 done. I'm having way more fun doing this than I originally thought.

Next up, Connecticut.

Chili verde is delicious. I first had it at a hole in the wall Mexican joint in treasure island Florida and haven’t been able to find a place that sells it since. This one looks amazing!! Great work.

Colorado is supposed to be the chili verde capital. Ask me how I know? 😅 lol. The smoked version sounds amazing. I hope you enjoy.

Hey I have used that exact recipe! It is delicious! Oh and I am in Colorado 🙂

Colorado Chile verde breakfast burritos are what I miss most about living there. Hands down some of the best I’ve ever had. Can’t find them where I live now and it’s the saddest thing ever.

Have to resort to making my own. But just doesn’t hit the same.

Best chili Verde I ever had was homemade by a friend at her dinner party. She made chili rellenos that were wrapped in egg roll wrappers then fried and then smothered with the chili. It was one of the best meals ive ever had and ive been unable to replicate anything close to her chili.

Really making Chile Verde from scratch is really easy as well as much better tasting than that recipe. And since you were on a smoker already, a missed opportunity to fire roast the veg as the smoke was happening.

This picture just inspired me to go down an evening-long rabbit hole and purchase ingredients to make exactly this on Saturday for a pool party.

Why Colorado and not New Mexico? Looks good either way
