🍗 Recipe – Turkish Chicken Cheese Lasagna
🛒 Ingredients:

500g boneless chicken (boiled & shredded)

1 packet lasagna sheets (boiled al dente)

1 large onion (finely chopped)

2 tbsp olive oil / butter

1 cup tomato puree (or fresh blended tomatoes)

2 tbsp tomato ketchup

1 tsp red chili flakes

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp oregano

1 tsp black pepper

Salt to taste

1 tbsp garlic paste

2 tbsp cream cheese

1½ cup mozzarella cheese (grated)

1 cup cheddar cheese (grated)

For White Sauce (Béchamel):

2 tbsp butter

2 tbsp all-purpose flour (maida)

2 cups milk (warm)

Pinch of nutmeg (optional)

Salt & pepper to taste

👩‍🍳 Method:

Chicken Filling:

Heat olive oil, fry onion + garlic paste till golden.

Add shredded chicken, tomato puree, ketchup, chili flakes, paprika, oregano, salt & pepper.

Cook for 5–7 min, then add cream cheese and mix well.

White Sauce:

In a pan, melt butter, add flour, whisk for 1 min.

Slowly add warm milk while whisking (no lumps).

Add nutmeg, salt & pepper. Cook until thick and creamy.

Assembly:

Grease baking dish, spread white sauce first.

Add lasagna sheet, chicken filling, grated cheese.

Repeat layers until done.

Top layer: white sauce + mozzarella + cheddar.

Bake:

Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Serve hot 🔥 with garlic bread or salad.
