When I started shouting out a few of my favorite Jamaican spots a few months ago, I mentioned Yaad Man, a guy who was typically set up on the corner of 118th and Lenox, and had the best curry goat I've had, among other things.
Then, he disappeared. Every day, I longed for Yaad Man until about two weeks ago, on that very corner, a Yaad Man sign popped up advertising delivery. I don't know if the haters got to him or what, but it seems like he's operating from an apartment building on the block and offering delivery, so today we tried it out via Doordash.
It was as good as ever. 🥰 I think it was a little less meat than I'm used to, but I'm just sooooo happy to add them back to my lunch rotation. Menu attached here for reference! Enjoy!
