(Mods lemme know if questions aren't allowed) I'd love some suggestions, a mexican colleague gifted me these peppers a while back and I want to make good use of them but I don't know mexican cuisine at all

Make a sandwich and add some (check on the spicy before).

Blend a few with creamy cheese, milk, chicken broth and crema if you have access to some. Pour it with a little bit of oil on a cacerole, slices of chicken and bacon, then your favorite pasta (I usually do it with spaghetti).

Either chicken or beef tinga. Make some white rice and black beans 🤤

Tinga and then make it into hard shell taquitos.

Salsa negra. You’ll dollop that stuff on everything.

You can throw them in the blender and make a bomb chipotle salsa that goes great on eggs and other dishes. Add onion and garlic for more flavor.

  6. I freeze them in ice cube trays and then in a ziplock. One is enough to mix with mayo and a little lime juice to make chipotle mayo for my mexican tacos and burritos.

Salsa!! Get a jar of pomodoro Italian tomatos. Create your own ratio of tomatos, garlic, yellow onion, chipotles and salt: blend all this and ta-da! Or in Spanish ta-rán!! Use that salsa on whatever: tacos, scrambled eggs, huevos rancheros, tortilla “chips”, etc👌👌 forgot to mention this is the base and when you find different ratios it could be use for “tinga or albóndigas” ✌️

Chop up about a teaspoonful of the chipotle, then marinate it in a couple of tablespoons of chocolate syrup. Pour all of it over some coffee ice cream.

Everything. Experiment. It’s fun and you can come up with some crazy good stuff.

White chicken enchiladas with a chipotle crema sauce drizzle, super easy with a store bought rotisserie chicken.

thanks everyone for all the ideas! I’ll make tinga first since that seems like the most popular suggestion 😀

I use chipotles in my Santa Fe chicken soup. They give the flavor of the soup some depth. A little bit of spice with all that smokey flavor

Blend with tomatoes, garlic, onion, and lime for a smoky chipotle salsa

If they were ground I’d say chipotle ranch
