I HATE COOKING!!

I've been deciding to cook more cause the maintenance in my apartment complex finally fixed my dishwasher so it's easier for me to want to cook but Tuesday morning I made crockpot chicken and I put it in Tupperware for my lunch Thursday (tomorrow) and it's not looking as appetizing then when I first made it. When I looked online it said it should be good for 3 to 4 days! And it was the perfect temp on my meat thermometer

I can't tell if it's still good or not by stench or looks! I'm unsure of what to do! I'm attaching a picture but if anyone has any tips maybe for future me would be helpful! Or maybe I should've baked or fried it instead! I'm pushing myself to eat healthier!

P.S- I just drained the broth, I thought if I kept the chicken soaked in there it would be juicy the day of eating! I wanted to make chicken, rice, and cheese wraps!

There's not much of a recipe. I used about 5 maruchan chicken packets in water to replace the chicken broth I didn't have available. I used two packets of sazon, salt, black pepper, and adobo. It was about 5 pieces of chicken

Your nose will tell you if it’s good… Looks fine from the picture

If you’re looking for another easy chicken recipe,

chicken breast(can use some taco seasoning if you want), bottle of salsa, and then turn on.

When done put the chicken in a bowl you can use the hand mixer in, turn it on low and it will shred the chicken perfectly in about 30 seconds. And now you have shredded chicken with about 3 minutes of actually doing something.

  2. To me, chicken never looks great from being slow-cooked, shredded, and then refrigerated. However, it usually tastes great after heating up. Personally shredded chicken never looks right cold no matter what. The flavor though is usually great. I slow-cooked a bunch of chicken, drained it, shredded it back into the crock, and smothered it in a mix of honey and Vidalia onion BBQ sauces. I let it slow cook for a couple of hours with thinly sliced onions in it as well. I have been using it as a topper for tots, salads, and sandwiches.

Was there something specific you were concerned about in appearance and texture? If it’s the color adobo turns things a kind of yellowish color. Without knowing much, visually it looks semi normal for refrigerated chicken as it will continue to lose juices and separate from fat especially if you slow cooked it.

Things to look for with bad poultry are going to be along the lines of a change in smell, and color as well as a sliminess
