Is that ikura for ants???? I want about 10-20 times that much 🤤
ArmadaOnion
I need to get into the sushi business. That’s outrageous. Like 12-15 tops.
MikaAdhonorem
Mmmm, yes please.
AccuracyVsPrecision
Cheap looking tuna, they are robbing people charging 28 dollars
Affectionate_Hope738
You need a new go-to place. That’s maybe a $15 plate. In Japan, that’s probably $4. $28 is insane.

AYCE is $30 per person here in Fort Worth TX. Ikura is served for dinner and 2 pc limit Uni on weekends. Wife doesn’t like it so she orders her 2 pc’s for me. Usually end up eating 16 salmon sashimi (no rice) and 8 ikura rolls amongst all their menu included in the AYCE like bbq ribs, steamed buns, pad Thai, Las Vegas rolls, etc.

3 cuts of fish lol

Top looks like Talipa. What did they say it was?

I bought an entire salmon the other day for $30. It was 3 1/2 lbs of sashimi. Seeing these prices hurts me.

Some people can afford to throw their money away I guess good for you lol
Leading_Form_8485
That should be 20 tops. I think it’s the roe that bumped it up.
Careless_Progress927
A la carte sashimi $2 for salmon and tuna, $3 for yellowtail and ikura
I’ve been coming here for years and usually get their huge 12pc rolls at around $9-$10 each (will have to share some pictures next time)
But today I was really craving sashimi. Have never had any complaints on quality so im satisfied with the price
True-Art-9960
Wow yummy 😋😍💛

Seems a tad expensive for that little bit of food

Where’d you eat after?

Expensive
hisoka_12
11 pieces of raw fish for $28… And it’s not even the expensive fish. Hell no.
Sus-sushi
Aside from the color of the fish, look at how unevenly sliced it is. The tuna second to the left looks to be a quarter of the thickness of the one on the most right. That’s how you can tell that their chefs don’t give a crap or don’t have the technique. It’s worse than what i expect from a home chef.
Kind-Act7051
The problem is I could easily eat 4 of those…
Deepthroat_Your_Tits
Ludicrous. I’ve been living in Asia for a bit and this would cost like a dollar where I am lol
Dr_knowitall69
Well, that’s about $5-6 worth of fish, considering the quality.
DelDelDelDelDelDel
look decent but definitely overpriced. $14-$16 is what it should be priced at
Zealousdaddi
28 for an appetizer dammmmn
KieferSutherland
Y’all really need to source good fish and do sashimi at home. You been get 5x this amount for $7. Granted that’s usually one type of fish
marimo_vie
28 dollars is way too expensive for that portion
MeatWizard69
Not saying $28 is justifiable with the ingredients shown but if this place is in the US, the restaurant is most likely getting a 25-40% increase on all their fish.
Unfortunately the days of $16 sashimi plates are over or will be soon. Enjoy it while you can folks
