Filet mignon pan seared and butter basted in a cast iron pan with garlic, shallots, rosemary, and thyme. Served with oven roasted carrots and green beans, and rustic mashed potatoes. I could seared a little longer, but the temperature came out perfect.

    Get a nice red like a Syrah, Chianti, or Brunello. You’ll understand how well a dry red pairs with a steak
