Stupid? Ngl this doesn’t feel stupid it feels more like a culinary art exhibition. Sure it may be stupid “food” but its not stupid “cooking”

  2. they use the same spatula for everyone. because food brings people together

  3. Possible-Half-1020

I feel like the food itself isn’t stupid but the spoon feeding it is wild

Thats omakase. It’s actually a very nice dining experience. I been to more traditional ones. But the experience hits all senses. Including the heart. Its intuitive service.

Just take me to In n Out and I’d be happy

  6. Imagine using the same spoon or whatever the hell that thing is after shoving it down this guy’s throat

I get the impression that these are places that don’t understand why omakase sushi preparation is the way it is and just assume that it is a template practice for ‘fancy’. Guy looks fuckin stupid being spoonfed

Working man and Use-a-Map minded humans are going extinct, and soon we forget how to use forks and spoons and probably GPS’d to this Troll Experience 🧌

Rich people really do find creative ways to spend their money. Like eating good food isn’t enough anymore.

This isn’t for everybody, but that’s kinda the point!

So he gets new spatula to feed other guests and then he color codes so he remembers which spatula is for which guest, right?

    Right?

That jelly thing is neat though. Never seen it done like that before.

It can be a great experience or it can be very disappointing. I guess the “performance” part gets repetitive so I am not sure I would go to the same place twice. And you can’t really chat with your friends or choose your food (order seconds if you like to) it can be restrictive.

Personally it’s just not something I crave but I have had some good food from Omakase

Fuck right off, that shit was probably $300 for the full dining experience

The answer is: no. This is one course at a 2(?) started Michelin restaurant out of maybe 9 or 10 courses.

I’m sure that chocolate tasted great but I would not want anyone spoon feeding me unless I’m a vegetable in bed unable to use my arms

  17. Megalodon7770

Wow , I guess we are reaching new levels of cringe and stupidity

  18. No way I’m paying out the ass for a dude to spoon feed me

  19. Philip-Ilford

That’s a cool piece of chocolate but there is no way I would ever be ok with someone baby birding me during dinner.

I’m not a fan of being feed directly to my mouth.

But “each course prepared one by one and served directly to you” is in fact how restaurants work.

Being spoonfed is odd to me, but this looks like a cool dining experience. Had omakase for the first time in NY a few weeks ago. It rocked
