Everyone seems to think that satsiki is the world’s best dip. So, I’m going to try it and rank it on my official scientific dip scale. In my opinion, the secret to a good satsiki is to remove as much water from the cucumber as possible. Scoop out the seeds, grate it, add salt, and squeeze out as much liquid as you can before adding to a big bowl with a nice full fat Greek yogurt. A couple cloves of grated garlic, some chopped dill and parsley, some more salt, and a healthy glo of a nice nice olive oil. And even if you’re a tatiki hater, you have to respect how simple this dip is. No BS, just good basic ingredients. And that, in my opinion, is what makes tatiki amazing. I could eat this every day and not be sick of it. And it makes pretty much any meal better. Not really the undisiputed champion, but it definitely has big dip energy.

  1. I know that's heresy, but hear me out. Add a little mint to tzatziki which adds a nice fresh kick, roast sesame seed, sprinkle them generously on top and eat with nachos. My favourite snack in the world

  2. Tzatziki is aight i guess… not as good as a super spicy garlic truffle aioli imo

  3. Fried tawilis with a salad/dip of tomatoes, bagoong, onions, chili, and patis was one of the best things I have ever had when tawilis was still available for consumption. That sardine is endangered 😥
