I get it, the idea of reducing the use of disposable cardboard is a good idea, but in practice this is horrible… Like, not only is this "environmentally friendly alternative" 40 bucks, but there's also the fact that in the end you're paying for a small pizza that is inside of a bigger pizza that's been all touched, and cold, and dragged around over any type of surfaces… And we also need to keep in mind that the idea of an edible pizza box made out of pizza is just pure gluttony on top of a waste of ingredients… I like pizza just as much as the next guy, but this is a bit too much. 🍕

Definite /r/pizzacrimes material right here.
I don’t remember this “pizza box thing”, but it is upsetting to say the least.
if this is real the person who though of it should be taken out back and slapped around at this dumb idea
Reminds me of medieval coffyns. The pastry was just a thick shell used to hold all the tasty bits. You broke it open and ate the good stuff and tossed the rest.
what in the gluttony
This feels fake, no well known chain did anything like this. If real, it would have to have been a publicity stunt.
Yo dawg!
“Yo dawg, we heard you like pizza so we surrounded your pizza in pizza.”
Does the top of the lid have cheese?
It’s pointless. You’d still have to put that in another box or the outer pizza would have to be thrown away.
I actually don’t remember this at all and I’m pushing 40. When was this a thing?
I just watched this last night. Rofl.
You know what?
With all your objections, for that much pizza, I do not care.
