It's ok I gave it to my dad so he could make it disappear before I ever had a chance

  1. It’s pretty greasy. I was getting a slice nearly every night thinking it wouldn’t kill my daily calorie deficit. Having something like that before bed helps me relax and sleep. Nope…slices are huge and probably 1000 calories.

I use to work at Sam’s so I would just take the cheese off the pizza and dab up the grease and would still get my fix

Life is too short. EAT THE COSTCO PIZZA! 🤤

  4. goldheadsnakebird

Is it actually good? It looks over cooked.

  5. shark-with-a-horn

Sorry but a slice of pizza with one bite taken out of it is kind of the most depressing thing I’ve ever seen 😭

Gas station pizza is what tempts me every day. There’s a chain around here that has little kiosks with the most amazing pizza. At all the gas stations. Sometimes, the temptation is too much. I feel your pain.

It’s okay to indulge every once in a while

Don’t beat yourself up over one slice of pizza!

700 calories and 44 grams of protein, not the worst you could do (and I definitely do)

I have gotten to a point where I plan my day around Costco pizza if I go to Costco. Sometimes, after battling people with giant carts, you want the reward of a delicious giant slice of pepperoni pizza.

I can relate Lol…..sometimes even one bite can feel like it’s sabotaging all your progress! 🍕

You could have just eaten the pizza. Dieting is all about realistic expectations and long term success. Im eating a butterfingers right now because a new flavor just dropped i wanted to try. I went to the gym today and did full body and a walk. Eat the pizza and go hard the next week at the gym. Or cut the pizza in half and eat only one side. Moderation during a diet is key. You cant see certain food as something you cant have.

Most trips I’m fine getting just the hot dog. But on those special, naughty, hungry days you know I’m getting a slice too

You do know it’s fine to enjoy, even on a deficit? You’re just creating a bad relationship with food.

Personally I will indulge every now and then. I was able to lose 20kg slowly and healthily this way. I try to aim for 1200 kcal a day, but when the cravings get too much, I just try to eat more protein throughout the day to curb any hunger. Please don’t start beating yourself up over food. Food isn’t our enemy 🤗

  15. some days I just rearrange my macros or will fast all day so I can have a nice gluttonous cheat meal.

Cheat meals aren’t even that bad if you use them sparingly and don’t go way overboard on them.

I have found that there is nothing inherently wrong with eating 2000 plus calories in a single sitting, and if I haven’t eaten all day I think most of the time I don’t even feel overly full after those binges.

Ngl this is me, except on the crust, I always end up giving it to my mom and dad 🤣

  17. This is why I can’t order/get stuff I don’t plan to finish or at least take half home. I am weird about wasting food (how I grew up I know plays a big role, that and my sheer willpower issue). I know I won’t leave any or throw it out. I may take home half if I planned to and it’s something that will reheat well. I LOVE Costco pizza, but I know I’m better off to not ever get any because I WILL eat that entire slice. 🫠

  18. I cant control myself so i cant even take a bite of something like this😭

  19. Mesmerotic31

I had a alice of Costco pizza a couple months ago and it was so rich I wasn’t hungry again the rest of the day. I actually came up under my calorie goals that day just due to the satisfying decadence.

Whats the estimate if you just eat the cheese and pepp from cost co pizza? Asking for a friend.

  21. anormalgeek

Just plan around indulgences. I find them necessary to keep from losing momentum.

This slice is 700cal. I’m more than happy to skip breakfast one day and have a 500 cal salad or big bowl of soup for dinner if it means I get to eat this. The macros are a bit whack, but I NEED that occasional indulgence or I totally fall off the wagon.

Plus I kind of feel like I’ve cheated the system when I do it this way. It gives me a perverse sense of additional satisfaction.

Whole wheat lavash smeared with pasta sauce (or pimped out tomato sauce – lots of herbs), lots of sliced veggies, massive amount of sliced mushrooms, sprinkled with Italian seasoning and just enough cashew shreds to give it a bit of fat. Bake for 15 minutes. Boom. Pizza. Usually under 200 cals for half.

I do IIFYM because I’m not cutting out my favorite foods. I will save my whole day or two’s calories if I need to!

  24. Deep-Watch-2688

I can’t help but make the costco pizza an exception to the rule. And costco cheesecake. And costco s’mores crackers. And costco hot dogs…I try not to go to costco more than once a month. 🫠

  25. happinessisachoice84

In the future, cut that slice in half and then pick a bulk vegetable you like. Broccoli or carrots or cauliflower, dip them in ranch if you like, that’s okay. Eat your veggies to fill your stomach then enjoy your reasonable pizza slice!

I ate two packs of poptarts yesterday if that makes you feel any better
