The Tuscan Bistro restaurant in Washington Township reopens today (Friday Aug 29) after a 2-month closure where they invested in interior upgrades to the dining room and kitchen, with a focus on further improving the customer dining experience and capacity.
To welcome customers back, through the Labor Day weekend Tuscan Bistro is offering a 10% discount for dine-in customers! And yes, Tuscan Bistro will be open Labor Day Monday also!
Located in the ”Goodwill” Cherry Tree Crossing shopping center on Hurffville-Cross Keys Rd, Tuscan Bistro offers a large variety of Italian cuisine including full entrees including Chicken Florentino, Risotto Primavera, Tilapia Francese and more… as well as a more casual variety of pizzas and sandwiches.
I stopped in yesterday to catch up with owner and chef Miguel who says he is focused on putting his customers first, making sure their full dining experience is the best it can be… which extends beyond the incredible food that he and his staff create.
Recognizing the support the community has been giving him and his restaurant particularly on weekends when the dining room is packed, Miguel’s recent upgrades are focused on further improving the dining experience with more table seating available and kitchen improvements which should move orders out to customers even faster.
In the dining room the most obvious change is that Tuscan Bistro removed that low divider wall which created a center hallway… an area that few customers actually used.
With this change, Miguel created additional space in the dining room which enabled him to add another row of table seating. More available seating means more happy customers!
But delicious food and more seating isn’t enough if dining customers feel they are waiting too long to be served! So Miguel also made significant improvements in the kitchen, and I got the full tour.
One aspect that seems smaller but yet is very impactful… Miguel rearranged portions of the kitchen including relocation of the large walk in freezer, giving the kitchen team additional space and a better workflow to create your delicious meal.
Likely a more impactful change is he doubled his stove cooking capacity by adding a full second large commercial stove with overhead hood.
Even with an additional percentage of dining room seating, the second stovetop space really should help improve how fast Tuscan Bistro can deliver hot and delicious food to the customers.
Absolutely your dining experience in Tuscan Bistro is a casual and relaxing experience, but no one wants to wait a long time for their order… So this should improve the experience for diners, and also help more people get to experience the delicious Tuscan Bistro menu.
if you haven’t stopped in to try Tuscan Bistro now is your chance… particularly if you’re hanging at home this Labor Day weekend you can take advantage of the 10% dine-in discount.
