Hello guys, welcome back to my channel. So in today’s video, I’ll be showing you guys how to make this thick and creamy Greek yogurt. It’s very, very simple and is a beginner friendly recipe. So if you want to know how to make your Greek yogurt at home, this video is definitely for you. Just get your pen, sit down, relax, and get ready to listen. Okay, I’ll be showing you the easiest way you can achieve that. So without wasting much time, let’s dig into the video. Before you can make your yogurt, be it sweetening yogurt or Greek yogurt, you need these three ingredients to start the process. First, you need your milk is either you using powdered milk or liquid milk. Second item that you need is your measuring cup. No matter what you do, you have to use the cup to get the accurate measurement for your yogurt to come out well. Last thing, you need your cure or starter depending on what you want to call it. So guys, let’s mix up the yogurt. So before you can do anything guys, you have to sterilize the materials that you are using. So right now I’ve sterilized my bowl with hot water. So I’ll be mixing my yogurt. So into the bowl I’ll be putting seven cups of milk. This cup is 250 ml. So I’ll be using it to measure 7 cups of milk. In every cup of milk, you use two cups of hot water. Because I measured 7 cups of milk, that is equivalent to 14 cups of hot water. So after adding the hot water, I’ll slowly mix everything together till it is well combined. Then I’ll allow to cool down. Hey lovelies, welcome to my channel. So guys, up here is some of the link to our previous video. you can do way to click it to catch up with our previous video and I will tell you you will truly enjoy them. So right now I’ll be removing the fat that I see floating on top of the milk then I will save. So this is to ensure that we do not have additional lumps during the fermentation process. [Music] So after saving the milk, this is what we got. Imagine you have this in your milk. You will definitely have a lot lo lot of lumps. So right now I’ll be doing a one finger dip test into the milk to be sure that I can tolerate the heat. So right now I’ll be scooping some milk out in a separate bowl to mix my culture. Please do not mix your culture or your starter directly into the milk. So here I’ll mix my kaw until it is properly combined with the milk. Then I’ll be pouring it back into the bowl. After pouring it inside the bowl, I’ll stir the milk very well to make sure that everything is well combined because what I’m avoiding is lumps. I don’t want to see any lumps. So I’ll mix thoroughly till everything is well combined. After mixing properly, I went ahead to cover my bowl with the cover. So after covering the bowl, then I’ll be using my cloth to cover it properly because you need to cover it in a warm place. So I’ll be using my clothes to ensure that no air penetrate through it. Then after that, I will put it into my oven. Then I’ll cover it and allow the fermentation process to begin. Actually, I love making this yogurt at night because when I place it inside my oven, it will be there till the next morning. It makes the whole thing easy and nobody will disturb it because everybody is asleep at that moment. [Music] So guys, when I brought out the yogurt the next day, when I open my bowl, the yogurt was looking so good. It was so smooth and so silky. The yogurt came out very well. Can you see it? I’m not joking. Just see now look at it. And it is very very easy because once you follow the instruction, you follow the measurement, you will never go wrong with this recipe. So guys, I’ll mix everything together and we’ll move to the next stage. So at this point, if you want your regular yogurt, you can actually stop here. But if you want Greek yogurt, you need to save this in a cheesecloth. So for those that does not know what cheesecloth is all about, this is it. This will help you extract the extra fat from the yogurt and make it Greek yogurt. So that is the work of the cheesecloth. So after pouring in my yogurt into the cheesecloth, I’ll tie it properly guys. You really need to tie it very well so that it can drain out the excess water that is in it. Then after that, I’ll put it in the fridge and allow it to drip for 12 hours. [Music] So guys, this is 12 hours later and the yogurt has drained out the excess water. Then I’ll be transferring it into my bowl. I’ll be using my whisk to mix it properly. But if you still have your hand mixer, that will work perfectly well. So right now the yogurt is properly mixed. As you can see, can you see the texture of this yogurt? It is smooth. It is thick and it came out so creamy. So guys, at this point, I believe everybody can do their own yogurt. It is better for you to know what you are consuming than buying something from the market or supermarket without knowing how the production process was done. But with this, you will know what is entering your stomach. So, right now, I’ll be transferring the ugot into my storage bowl. Guys, before you transfer into your storage bowl, like I said earlier, make sure you sterilize your bowls with hot water. After transferring this yogurt into my bowl, I’ll put it in a working fridge and enjoy my yogurt. So guys, this recipe is so easy and you can enjoy this yogurt as long as it lasts for you. As for me, this yogurt can only last for 4 days because I will eat this morning, night, and afternoon. This can also be used as your puff and it is very very filling. You can eat this and not get hungry easily. So guys, you can enjoy this yogurt with anything of your choice. You can enjoy it with your nut. You can enjoy it with your fruit. You can play around.
