    I loved that Negitoro hand roll with the little raw onions. It was a perfectly Japanese version of our German Mettbrötchen – raw minced tuna instead of raw minced pork, rice and nori instead of a bread roll and raw onion to top it off.

    That’s a lot of clams! Are you meant to eat the meat from all of them or just drink the broth? I feel like it would take forever to eat the meat from that many.

    But I’m curious, what did you think of the watermelon? Once you eat watermelon in Japan, the US watermelon is just so blah (assuming you’re from the US. I’m sure other countries have better watermelons like in Japan).
