This isn’t Pittsburgh style it looks medium in the middle maybe medium well

That’s flavour that’s looks 11/10 haters will hate because they eating pot noodles!

  3. Shouldn’t take so long to get that crust that the (I want to say gray band, but this one was cooked so long it became a) white band is present. A hotter pan and more frequent turning would prevent this. Also, when you turn the steak, don’t put it back in the same spot. Move it around the pan because the meat makes the pan cool down.

Ok so the quick explanation on Pittsburgh Style is take a steak out of your lunch cooler throw steak on the side of a 2,000 plus degree steel cauldron for literally a few seconds peel it off throw it on the other side again for a few seconds now both sides look like you just pulled it out of a bag of charcoal burnt beyond actual recognition cut into it and the inside looks like you just took it out of the cooler that’s Pittsburgh Style ! My absolute favorite way to cook a steak on my charcoal grill.

The real question is how tender was it and how does it taste because just by the look, I would eat it but I’ve said that before at a bar after a few beverages and regretted it 😂😂😂

Oh no, I’ll take that off of your hands. No worries

You over cooked it abs didn’t let it rest long enough. I would still eat it

That’s my kind or cook with a thick ass steak like that. We’ll done. I love the crust

Like the ghost hunters used to say, “onto the next!”

Damn …seeing the prices today, not sure how you all can afford to eat this good. It would have been a single steak or, gas for the week. Filled the car instead.

lol that is not Pittsburgh style. That’s just a burnt crust and a medium middle

You got all of the Dones except rare – bravo! But it looks juicy and tasty and actually really awesome, so yes, actually: Bravo.

Texture and doneness variations can be quite a culinary treat. You get full flavor, almost every texture, moisture, fats both rendered and not.

As much as I like a perfect medium rare +, I love me a steak like this one, too.

    Call it what you like,
I want your meat inside me –

That combination of crispy and pink makes me excited
