Fun tasting

Buddy brought the Syrahs. I supplied the aglianico.
Did not enjoy the alexandrine, very raisiny. Just not great. Nose is the best part. The pallet is crazy raisin and bitter and flat. A long finish is only good if the taste is good
Croze JL selections is great Qpr as always. Violets for days. Some bacon fat. Great wine, great fruit, excellent finish.
Jamet is more complex imo. It’s got a cool, maybe brett thing? It’s opened nicely. I love Jamet. It’s the most acidic I would say. Great finish

And mine, the aglianico. Incredible. Tannin and body and oak relative to the other three is obvious. This is awesome. It’s got red fruit and life. Acid+. Tannin++. This is lovely and would crush with food or by itself. Elena makes amazing wine. Look for this if you can. Great texture too.
