Looks yummy but I would be scared to leave my stove on for 4-5 hrs. I’m new to cooking, Is that a normal thing ?

I make a big batch usually and put portions in the freezer for the next 1-3 months. Freezes excellent btw.

Tbh it’s really really close to the official ragù alla bolognese [recipe](https://www.bo.camcom.gov.it/it/blog/depositata-la-rinnovata-ricetta-del-vero-ragu-alla-bolognese) so I don’t think any Italian would be offended
