    Oof OP. This is the incorrect format for a lemon bar for so many reasons! It should be shortbread/crust and lemon curd in equal measure, like this: = .

    I suspect you had trouble getting the curd to set when you’ve baked it into a loaf rather than a thin layer.

    Lemon bars are my absolute favorite desert, and I’ve made them many times as a kid and now adult. I’ve made them GF, dairy free, egg free, all three free..

    I have NEVER once seen a lemon bar get messed up that badly omg, like how did it turn into such a fleshy brick bowl?? How does that even taste??? How is the curd just pure, cum-like liquid??? How???
