Going to pick this up today for $100. I see this model is discontinued so was wondering if it’ll be worth it, or be a pain in the ass?

*What seasoning did you use?
*How long did you cook it, and at what temperature?
*Did you use any special tricks or techniques?
Traeger on!

StreetSkis
Plug it in and turn it on. See if it works. If it doesn’t you may be able to bargain regarding the price .
Either way, Id say yes. Its worth 100 bucks. Remove grate, drip pan, heat shield and vacuum out. Pull and vacuum out auger. Pull fire pot and hot rod. Parts Typically needed: programmable thermostat, temp probe, auger motor, induction fan, connection wiring harness, firepot, hotrod. You will be able to purchase those parts for $100 on Amazon. If you need a new auger, that will cost extra. The auger should be straight. The auger may be warped, if theres been a really hot fire (grease fire). Pull the auger and roll it on a flat surface. If warped it will wobble. If straight, no wobble when you roll it. Roll it like you’d roll a pool cue. If warped buy a new auger as well. Measure the length to make sure you buy the right auger.
